Secret walls?

feed me a stray kitten told me today while I was playing the developers know secrets like when you jump against a certain wall it opens up and gives you a chaingun no matter what class you are.

Is this true?

No. That is not true.

It only works if you are a scout.

well i think what you heard was they had planned to do it , but everytime the chaingun was given to the scout, he toppled over because of the physics ... the chaingun weighed more then the scout so he kept falling over ...

Only if your current speed is at EXACTLY 550 when you make contact with the wall. Its hard as hell, but quite rewarding.

Yeah, aardvark is a bit easier to do it. You need to have low gravity set to 200, and you need to step on the arrows at the front of your base, but when you do this, you have to immediately do a 180 to the right, pushing yourself extremely fast, then landing perfectly onto the enemy's arrow push thing, where you then stay at 550 speed for a few seconds. Beware, you have to go left, and if the lasers are on, you will die. With the lasers off, you fly into the edge of the open laser field, smashing you into a secret room that has the chain gun, the old railgun, and all grenades that you can pick up. But beware, once you enter this room, there is a ceiling turret that will kill you if you don't exit out the wall fast.

So grab your newly found goods, and start pwnin.

it's not broken, you just have to detpack it to clear the blocking brush first.
