Those aren't the jump heights in TFC or source.
Anyway in source you can jump (I think) 52 units or up to (but not including) 64 units with a crouch jump. If you crouch right before you jump you can jump just barely higher than 64 units. |

As far as the height of objects that you can jump onto, it's the same in FF as it is in TFC/HL/CS.
You can jump without ducking onto something 45 units high, but not 46. While already ducking, you can jump onto something 45 units high, but not 46. You can jump and then duck (jumpduck, duckjump, hurdle, or whatever you wanna call it) onto something 63 units high, but not 64. Here's a couple screenshots of the shitty map I made way back for the coders to test out the jump height... http://www.trepid.net/ff/images/ff_d..._height-01.jpg http://www.trepid.net/ff/images/ff_d..._height-02.jpg High quality mapping right there. Great use of non-HL2 textures, too. WOOH, YEAH! |

Uh, I'm pretty sure his intention wasn't to leak something but to show player jump height.

Should be approved later.
I was bamboozled into doing it. I hold all of you responsible. |

Well, it should happen eventually...real soon...hopefully.
The approval delay allowed me to add a few more screenshots though, so I guess that's good. Oh, and don't let your mind think crazy thoughts. The delay wasn't because nobody was around to approve it. schtoofa was just wondering if the screenshots should be branded for an actual media release, which I wasn't too sure of. Jew? |
