Belgian vote on TF2 and FF

Okay this says nothing much in my opinion, just want to share...

On a belgian gaming forum (games.telenet.be) a polls been launched with what mod people are going to play: TF2 or FF.

For the moment:
What are the ex-TFC players going to play:
TF2: 47 (36%)
FF: 27 (20%)
Play both decide later: 57 (44%)

Okay majority waits for playing 'em both and are probably going to play FF first so maybe more converts to FF in that zone, but I find it strange that on a board where most of the people are good informed on games (so they know FF is out here already a time) are voting more TF2 than FF. Number of voters isn't that big as well but it starts counting...

Any remarks, you statistic people?

(The general trend in the discussion is that the old timers want the game with the most resemblance to the original they played. Some are claiming that both of the mods could end up being whiner mods because of issues like BT, going Sniper, Offensive Engi,... during public/war, The old garde that represented the Belgium top clans in the TFC days are not thinking they are comming back or at least not with more than 50% of the original crew,...)

so you can indeed look at it. I must honestly say that I'm in the same situation (playing both) a bit... Going to play both of them and try most of both, but for the moment of what I know, I'm leaning more against playing FF because I think the competition will be better.

It's also easy saying that Belgians are nitwits or whatever, but I guess lots of people on this forum have only known FF and are seeing only people that will play FF and so on, but now that you get statistics from an outside source, this leads to discussions I guess...

na, i was just joking that there's a load of people there who have already decided which game they want to play. of course, you get those people wherever you go, certainly including here and the steam forums!

The only reason not to play 'em both (at least once) is 'cuz you're a cheap bastard who doesn't want Ep2 and Portal.

i voted some time ago on that poll ( been active in that forum for 7 years now), and i voted for FF

tf2 doesnt appeal to me at all.

I want Portals ^_^
And I will take a look at TF2 but I fear the bunnyhop will either be removed or... too odd for me.

I'll try both but I'll most likely continue playing the game with the larger community potential. I'm also looking for something fresh and new. Not just the same people/clans I've been around for the past 6 years.

i personally am going to get both because i want portal, and ep2, even tho valve is gay and isnt making a HL3
