To the Dev Team

Hey guys! First off, this is not a "release it now or the puppy get's it!" thread. I know you are working as fast as you can, and I'm not going to bitch about that.
Just a question, though.....

Are any of the maps completed enough that you might consider letting us non-beta testers check out on the O-T server? I know a lot of people are throwing a fit about the Dec release thing.......but I was thinking this might be a nice way of placating the whiney assbags, while giving those of us who patiently await the fruits of your labor a nice little treat.

Maybe just one?

Please?

This deserves a bit fat F in my gradebook. If the FF team were to do this, it would take away the "wow" factor from their first release. Example: "Oh yea FF is released.....maps are plain old boring [since we've seen them months ago]...yea whatever new models and tweaked gameplay, blah!" Basically, it would take away a huge element from their first release.

Oh, I dunno about that.....I've been having a blast checking out the ones that are up on that server. We already know what the gameplay is going to be like(like, uhhhh TFC....), and personally, I think it's a nice little preview of what is to come. I'm drooling over the maps I've seen(even though they aren't finished). I'm also not dropping any hate on the team, like a lot of people around here are doing.

IMHO, it would be nicer to actually run around the map and check it out as you would in game, than to see 50 screenshots taken of various points.

Yeah you know what the game play would be like (like TFC) but the mod also wants to attract new players.

It would be sweet Iggs but it probably will not happen... it would detract from the release imo.

However I think releasing ONE map (and NOT a blockbuster, perhaps cz2 or somethin') would be a good way to generate buzz.
