baffling TFC mouse sensitivity explanation?

I noticed this when I deleted my config setup and forgot to re add them so when I loaded up TFC everything was default.

Right, I first used default configs so sensitivity is default at 3. Moving my mouse from one end of the mat to the other I turn 360°.

Then tried my config setup with sensitivity at 6. Moving my mouse from one end of the mat to the other I turn almost 390°. Set the sensitivity to 3 and just turn over 90°.

Then tried default setup again with sensitivity at 6 and I spin 2 full rotations.

You can rule out acceleration because I disable it.

Logitech? There are "game" configurations for it... it may have gotten screwed up by a logitech update and just been a cowinkydink.

No, nothing like that. I just did this "experiment" about 2 mins ago. So rule out MouseWare.

So, when I use my personal config set up I spin less than I do with default confg setup (as TFC is when first installed) at the same sensitivity.

What the!?!....

I think that may be it Scuzzy, mine is a g7 so i can actually see the three speed settings on it and which one I am using and yet I still can't always figure out why my sensitivity is wonky. You should look into your mouse' settings.

Maybe your config has a command such as m_yaw that alters the horizontal mouse speed. Compare the default config with your own one!

Nope. I've quickly scanned though my configs and not seen anything to cause this.

To hell with it. It's hurting my head.
