after reading the pre-match predictions and post-match banter it is clear to me that FF really is a clean slate and a lot of people very much lack solid frames of reference.

Forget recording demos... how do you replay demos without people bouncing around like they're all having epileptic attacks?

I recorded some good footage in a pickup in spectate, and I can't for the life of me replay the demo without it looking like I had 6000 ping, and I didn't I had a nice steady 100ping or so.

I've lowered all my graphics settings in game and out of game, I can't for the life of me replay a demo let alone try and make a vid out of it.

check your screenies folder and make sure there arent like 35349857394857 screenshots cause a certain command to play a demo does each frame and screenies it

lol, that command is used to create FF videos. It saves all the demo frames to your folder, then you simply open a special program, start with whichever frame u want, and convert it.

Yeah startmovie is the one that fills your folder up with TGA files. But I can't even get to that stage. I'm talking simply recording a demo in game, leaving game, starting the demo and the playback itself is like I'm lagging and every other person in game is lagging with like 2000+ ping. I lower all my video settings everywhere and I can't get a smooth playback.

It's weird because you'd think if anything in game should be laggier because you're playing and recording and susceptible to the internet's lag. Yet video runs smooth.

Standalone not relying on the internet should be a smooth playback, yet I can't accomplish this feat. I'm sure it's video lag but still... it's a set package of data just being replayed it's not being created.

This really irks me because I'd love to make more movies but all my movies are extremely choppy just because demo playback is incredibley choppy for me.

even watching a match from source tv is laggy as fuck I think its a steam issue because it seems pretty wide spread.

when i try to play demos, its wierd
My game will pretty much freeze, but i can chat with the other players and talk on the mic like nothing happened and can look around, but my character and everything around me is stuck including rockets and sprites.
And theres no way out, my character is still controlled, but my view doesnt change
wierd as fuck

New roster?? LSD and dchE were the only 'new' guys playing - and lsd is really new, lol. The more i get my old tfc buddies back the more solid we'll be.

Looks like we have the 'fellas' next week.. wewt. Expect a LOW scoring game on 2fort infy. Just want to make sure you dont pred 170-0 or w/e because any team with a solid D at all will only let out 2 or 3...

2 new players on a 5v5 is quite a change or maybe i'm wrong?

last time I checked 2 out of 5 players would be 40%..making it just about halfway a new team... last time I checked almost half a new team...is almost a new fuckin team....
