Only grief I have with it is Flamehrower push was totally stolen from us <.<

Other than that, I could totally see my self playing this in TF2.

I´ve seen the video, and i have to say, that with that plug tf2 seems a lot more enjoyable to play, still missing concs and grens to be great. The downside is that it now competes more directly with FF.

That plugin is = to supercowfortress ?

I don't see the point of this mod. The TF2 maps are not designed for any of those tricks, and implanting them murders balance. Unless there are several good maps that are designed around it, expect it to die after a few months.

Well, it's not that bad, but speed boost imo is WAY too big. Heavy can get into center of granary faster than non-bhopping scout which is ridiculous

That's exactly the point of the plugin. TF2 is just the base game, it's certainly not the inspiration/template.

ppl making new maps suited for the bhop etc ?
i played a few standard tf2 maps earlier and they really didnt suit the bhop.

also the scout double jump kinda interferes with bhop :/

kudos to your hard work but the movement doesnt feel as fluid as in FF, seems "forced"

It's the core fact that ctf in TF2 is poor. The game isn't designed or built around it. However, due to the incredibly poor nature of CTF in TF2, it makes 2fort even worse than it is in TFC and FF. Turbine is ok, but it suffers from base syndrome which always turns into yard DM'ng which is the #1 issue with FF pubbing as well. It's not so bad in TF2 because of the respawn timers, but that doesn't make it a good mechanic for pub play.

Pubs always get along much better when teams have different objectives. Things like hunted, OVD, and AVD play so much better than full game CTF.

Now, if there was one flag and two teams had to try to fight for the capture of it then that would be a fine form of pub CTF play, but that's just not the case . This sucks especially because I prefer CTF to all styles of play and playing it in pubs is terrible and the only place to actually play it is in league play... and TF2 rarely ever plays CTF maps.

FF is the only choice and I'm too busy to devote much time to league play at the moment.

But anyway, CTF in TF2 is broken and sucks.

Seems like it could be cool for a while. I'm not sure how balanced the game would be with this MOD though. Now all you gotta' do is rip everything else off from FF, and I might play some TF2.

Jeez, that looks faster than FF.

Interestingly enough, it appears the max speed the source engine supports is something like 4995 (hud_speedometer 1).
