Clans Forum?
To the devs, and admins:
Is there a chance of getting a forum for FF clans? Nothing super-special, or anything...just an area where clans based in FF can post messages, and potential players can see what clans are available and their contact information. I'll offer to admin it, if you want me to. I know that most league-clans have websites of their own, but it would be nice to have all the info available in a convenient place. (Obviously, non-league clans would be welcome in the forum as well. I think it bad form to exclude clans just because they are of a more casual variety than super-serious).

AND I would like to see Mapping expanded some. Perhaps: Mapping Lua Released Maps Just to seperate things into specialties a bit more. Chat has 1 section... that should be fine, all offtopic posts can fit into one area. General has six, more than enough and each is focused where it should be. But Mapping has *1* section? It is much, much more complex than that and I hate seeing legimate questions getting bumped down because there is so much activity there. Lua is its own beast, for sure... it should definitely have its own section. Mapping can just be for general stuff. At the very least, Released Maps is a must. I would like to see it run like the beta forums (each FF official map has its own thread, and no new threads are to be made...). When a map is released, a moderator should create a thread for it and basically have it so people can not create new threads in that area. It would clean up and organize discusison on released maps.

that way we don't have to scour the internet for new FF maps or search through the pages of the forum and hope we can find a working download link. I hate broken links. |
