Oblivion, I'm not a fan of RPG games but that game is awesome.

That's probably part of why you think it's awesome.

Oblivion was tons of fun for me, until all the little annoyances turned into big annoyances.

Heroes 5 is a real awsome game, apart from being very very slow paced.

that took about a day for me, when I reached a decent level and realized the enemies were kicking my ass because I leveled up my alchemy too much or some dumb shit. lol

Well, just look at the console community today. Ever since the internet became available for consoles, game developers are beginning to shift more towards the consoles because there is just a larger potential market for them. I mean, just look at COD4 and Halo 2 and 3. ALL of my friends have these games for their XBOX360 or PS3. They don't play the singleplayer, they play the multiplayer and they are on all the time. I think that in the future, the shift will become more prevalent, as many games that should be released for the PC first, are being released for the consoles and later on maybe a few months are released on the PC.

This is also just my observation, I don't know what you guys see.

Supposedly there's been a great deal of thought about the problem of leveling up in Fallout 3 (IIRC it will use the Oblivion Engine)... The leveling scheme is truly problematic in Oblivion. If you stay low level then you never see the bigger monsters...but you can finish the game pretty handily. Your attributes only climb a little but your skills can progress to a certain extent. Hopefully they get that all sorted out for Fallout!

I always wanted to try that game out (Deus Ex).

By the way, Serious Sam First/Second Encounter are nice FPS' if you are looking for some serious action and overall fun. Going alone against 50+ enemies at once with a 19th century cannon is priceless (but cheap too... Knife FTW)

Fallout3 will be using the second edition of the same engine Oblivion ran on. Hopefully it's better optimized, but we'll see.

I think they learned their lesson with regards to the leveling scheme though.
