Well surely his statement is nothing new. I mean al-Qaeda are fanatics, they want war because it gives them the opportunity for easier kills. War between their enemies, that's just simple tactics again, creating divisions amongst your opponents. I don't think what al-Qaeda want should be used as a basis for forming policy. All of the middle east hated Al Qaeda. Syria, Iran and a few others were all in support of the US attacking it specifically, but then America decided that wasn't it's only target.
