Guitar Hero II - You Really Got Me as made famous by Van Halen

Which I just got a perfect score on. Easy mode, though.

This was Van Halen's first single.
There is a track before this on the album called "Eruption," which is an Eddie Van Halen guitar solo that leads into it. Disc jockeys often played the 2 songs together, but as computerized playlists and corporate programmers took control of radio stations, "Eruption" is rarely played.
This was used in an animated ad for a Nissan sports car. It featured G.I. Joe stealing Barbie away from Ken and driving off with her.
The Kinks got the dirty guitar sound on their version by slashing their speaker with a razor blade.
Not saying youre wrong, but i cant believe ive never heard of this cover until now, so thought id share the interesting (but off topic) rock facts i just googled!

Currently listening to:
Dragonforce - Lost Souls in Endless Time (bonus track)

I might as well jump on the e-penis bandwagon:

...And that is JUST my metal library. I have about 20 or so more gigs of non-metal stuff.

If you like female vocalists and No Doubt, check out "Old World Underground" from Metric and "Love Outside Andromeda" from Love Outside Andromeda. If you give those 2 albums a proper listen, you will not be disapointed imo. Let me know what you think!

Oh and you might wanna check out theredsunband which is another good band with female vocalist in the Garbage style.
