I would suggest using HL2DM to make FF maps for the time being, since FF won't be using the CSS GCF. Using HL2DM pretty much keeps you only using the base HL2 content, so you most likely won't run into problems when you port the map to FF when the time comes. I only say this because if you make an FF map as a CSS map for now, you might use CSS content, and then you'll have to go back to get rid of all that CSS stuff when you need to make the map work in FF.

You also shouldn't use HL2 to make the map, because you might use HL2 entities that won't be in FF. The halflife2.fgd has a ton of entities that you could use by accident, but hl2mp.fgd only has a few extra entities.

So yeah, use HL2DM to make FF maps for now.

Or actually, it might be wise to use HL2 to make an FF, but change its configuration in Hammer to use base.fgd instead of halflife2.fgd. That way you only use HL2 content and you won't use any extra entities at all.

Can you fix the title of my map to "ejgs_hunted" (which stands for Elite Hunters, JEC, Got Hunted??? - Source) The people who help make the hunted community what it was.

front of my map incursion pic koochy

Hey koochy i have a new pic for you. Its a graphed out lay out of the front of the base. Even though I already made it through Source sdk i still have to finish the inside. Heres a pic to post.

Incursion UPDATE REPORT

hey im just here to give an UPDATE to my map INCURSION

Im happy to say that the bunker in the mid field of the battlements is almost complete. Its coming out really nice . Im also happy to say that the flag room is nicely re-textured with way better textures. The main base itself has also been changed from two ramps going to the sniping room to a simple platform with a ladder and a elevator thing on the other side. Thats all the news update for now, pics soon

Sorry but as of now i cant release any new screenshots due to the fact that i have to finish the sky and battlements. But keep your eyes wide open i mite have screens maybe in 3 days

NEW UPDATE TO INCURSION! sorry guys but ive run in to some MAJOR problems wiht my map. i wont be gettin screens for prob 2 weeks Can anyone help me? here is ze' problem ok, i have one base and one mid field bunker. I want to copy and paste then flip the main base 180 degrees. but the only way i can do this is by going to EDIT> SELECT ALL but this selects the mid field bunker aswell. Can anyone help me? I just want to select the main base to flip it but i cant figure it out Please help me

1: Select All
2: Hold ctrl and use deselect all the parts of the mid field bunker in the 3d view if possible.
3: Copy paste and rotate to your hearts content! the bunker should be unchanged

OMG ANOTHER PROBLEM!! can anyone help me? *looking for osiris* the problem is that i cant make a 16 sided sphere...it comes up in the MAP ERROS thing as an invalid object gRrRR

spheres I dont know anything about, I've never used to tool before and it wasnt included in the old hammer (3.4/3.5)

oo its the brush tool but its not a BLOCK its a SPHERE one instead. for some reason unkown to me it doesnt work... ARGGHH GRRrRRR. I tried using the TORUS tool which almost worked out good until it freakin wouldnt fit in where i put it.. GrrRr ARghhh
