Star Wars In Concert

Anyone been? I'm going next Thursday...really looking forward to it. I'd like to know what someone who has been thinks.

Got a little sneak peek of it at the Star Wars Spectacular panel at San Diego Comic Con 2009 back in July. Anthony Daniels came on stage and discussed it and everything, and showed some clips from some of the concerts they had already done.

Reminds me of Video Games Live - how music from something we wouldn't expect (movies, games, etc) can be just as entertaining as the music we listen to in our daily lives. Though music from games and movies are all I listen to these days anyway.

Looks great to be honest, and I'd like to go. I'll have to see when they're in my area and how much tickets will be.

It was fantastic. I've seen a few symphonies in concert before, but nothing like this. It was very enjoyable, 2 1/2 hours with a 20 minute intermission. Anthony Michaels retells the story so well, and the live music just adds so much to everything, I highly recommend it. I got my tickets as a gift, but they were $75 for front section dead center. Very nice.

Tell me, since you've seen it... is it all 6 movies, or just the original 3?(IV,V,VI)

It shows clips from all the movies in succession. Anthony Michaels tells the abbreviated story from Star Wars set to the music. So, it's bits and clips from all 6 movies.
