How to turn off ragdolls? So dead bodies disappear?
Its possible to increase FPS around 10% on spammy maps by changing ragdoll_sleepaftertime 3.5f to 0.0f. However, this means that dead ragdolls/bodies stay where they die.
Is there any setting that turns off ragdolls completely, ie so someone dies they disappear right away? i think the command to do this in CSS is cl_ragdoll_physics_enable "0", but that command is not in FF. |

Unless of course the Spy's fake corpse disappears too, then I guess it might be considered alright...

even a setting to just make the body fall to ground but without ragdoll effect/physics which is taxing on FPS. ie with ragdoll_sleepaftertime 0.0f the body stays midair etc which then becomes confusing/blocks view etc there are these server-side settings, but on a lan server they didnt seem to have any effect: g_ragdoll_important_maxcount : 2 : , "sv", "rep" : g_ragdoll_maxcount : 8 : , "sv", "rep" : |
