HLStatsX for Fortress Forever

I have been working with the HLStatsX Community team to get Fortress Forever setup and compatible with HLStatsX Community edition. Currently 2.1 is compatible and working, and we are in development of adding even more logging detail to the game to make HLStatsX that much more detailed for Fortress Forever.

I have a working version of HLStatsX setup at this link that will house stats for the FF Official Servers and anyone else who would like their servers setup with stats on a community level.

Getting your server setup on the FF community HLStatsX is simple, contact me and let me know you want to, make sure you have sourcemod and metamod running on your server, download the hlstatsx.smx from here and put in addons/sourcemod/plugins, drop 3 lines into your autoexec.cfg or server.cfg:

logaddress_delall
logaddress_add 74.208.66.132:27500

Make sure logging is on and that the logaddress gets added (exec server.cfg or autoexec.cfg)...

and PRESTO!

You can also work on setting up your own HLStatsX Community for your server if you like. The HLStatsX community is located at http://www.hlxcommunity.com. Better than HLStatsX Premium that you have to pay for!

Setting Player Info

4. How can I set my real name, e-mail address, homepage and ICQ number?

Player profile options can be configured by saying the appropriate HLX_SET command while you are playing on a participating game server. To say commands, push your chat key and type the command text.

Syntax: say /hlx_set option value.

Acceptable "options" are:

* realname
Sets your Real Name as shown in your profile.
Example: /hlx_set realname Joe Bloggs

* email
Sets your E-mail Address as shown in your profile.
Example: /hlx_set email joe@hotmail.com

* homepage
Sets your Home Page as shown in your profile.
Example: /hlx_set homepage http://www.geocities.com/joe/

* icq
Sets your ICQ Number as shown in your profile.
Example: /hlx_set icq 123456789

Note These are not standard Half-Life console commands. If you type them in the console, Half-Life will give you an error.


5. My rank is embarrassing. How can I opt out?

Say /hlx_hideranking while playing on a participating game server. This will toggle you between being visible on the Player Rankings and being invisible.

Note You will still be tracked and you can still view your Player Details page. Use the Search page to find yourself.

Hiding in-game rank messages

hlx_auto clear|start|end|kill command - Auto-Command on specific event (on death, roundstart, roundend)
hlx_display 0|1 - Enable or disable displaying console events.
hlx_chat 0|1 - Enable or disable the displaying of global chat events(if enabled).
