Nobody dies in a suicide attack for the purpose of making people "afraid". The terrorists' goal was to stop US imperialism. That means their plan backfired dramatically.

The video states that the wars have strengthened Al Qaeda by giving them huge recruitment opportunities, then it claims that they are weaker than ever. Which is it?

The situation has been a disaster for everyone involved; he's right about that.
