Well clan -sN- was hacked today only active 24/7 server in FF myg0t got us today and our account holder -sN- skillet nowhere to be found so cant send ticket to gameservers to address the urgent info about being hacked.
We are guessing he was hacked 1st b/c he thinks everyone is a nice guy and trusts everyone, so they hacked him 1st which brings us to this we cant send a ticket in to report the problem. RIP FF this might be it for us :\
Unless maybe any otehr gameserver server account holders could give them a call and tell them about our server being hacked i dont know. But mainly i just want to say to any other server owners be carefull they are coming to kill this mod.

If myg0t doesn't bother to infest an online game, it means either:

1) Mygot knows about the game. The games sucks. It will never take off.
2) The game is not popular yet.

So, try not to freak out and try to see things from a positive angle.

It's fairly easy to track hacks down to their source. We've had a few people hit our box, the ones that seemed relevant they've been very quick to find and prosecute.

Start with IC3, they're usually fairly helpful, especially when you hand over the server logs.

After a conviction you'll be asked to give a witness account and what you believe restitution should be. Make a good list, charge $250 for emergency computer support for the hours it took you to restore the system, phone call costs, phone line costs to make the calls, paperwork, loss of reputation with the service provider for getting them to help you fix the problem, get a statement from the service provider for all of their support costs for the day, etc etc etc. It'll add up nicely.

I know that... but the motd is strictly flaming the guy that was in charge of the server... so it was probably one asshole just trying to mess with us, not the myg0t guys trying to kill this mod, we have too low ppl for this kind of shit, when that video was taken we had tons of players.
