That makes no sense. Morse codes don't follow bearings.

You mean when Bernard called Faraday out on the Morse code call?

They were showing the scene on the board where they were talking about the doctor being killed (but he was still alive), that's when the "pop-up" came up saying that it travelled at a different bearing (which sounds corny, I agree)

Anyway, it's strange how the producers actually make you feel sympathetic towards the others. I still think their actions are unforgivable, but those guys from the ship must be destroyed! (Where'd that C4 come from?)

I think that C4 is linked to the device on the guys arm. If he dies, his heart stops, the C4 blows and the ship goes bye-bye.

I agree that there is an effort to get people to side with "the others", but I think Ben is still just manipulating people. I don't think he believes for one moment he's no longer the leader of the others. I think he knew he shouldn't go into that house because he knew Jacob wasn't there, that someone (jack's dad and claire) were and that it would be bad for him to be in there. A few things I'd like to know... where are all the kids that were taken? Where are the grown adults? Are they still taking "tests"? 90% of the 815 survivors from the other side of the island were taken, but haven't been seen.

What are your thoughts on Jack's Dad? Is he dead and just a ghost that is physical to clair and certain people? Or did the island bring him back to life? Or does he work for Widmoore and his death was faked for some other purpose?

DUDE! SWEET!

And yeah, Locke is dead, but I'm not sold on that yet. Guess I'll have to wait for next season though.

And there's something fishy going on with Jack's Dad. For awhile I thought he was aware of the whole island thing and he was ACTUALLY there, but now, after the ship blew up, it's pretty apparent that he's not. Maybe he's the physical manifestation of the island? Like how people sort of saw Walt and shit, and how there was that random ass horse, maybe it's how the island communicates w/ people?

I dunno... I'm waiting for all the theories to show up on Wikipedia...... When's the next season start already?!?!?

Concur, with him showing up on the board the way he did it's clear he really is dead and is just the island's manifestation. Question now is, did the island kill Claire and is she a manifestation too?

There's also a very intersting undercurrent to the "original" inhabitents. Ben says the island needs them all to return to the island. Locke makes Jack believe they need to return to the island (per the last few moments of the season closer). Claire, on the other hand, makes it VERY clear that Kate ISN'T to return Aaron to the island. I've always wondered if there were two ghost groups, one that is with Jacob and one that is with the Black Smoke.... Or, is there "The Island with Fake-Walt, Fake-Christian" and then "The Ghosts with Jacob", and perhaps they don't always agree.

So, let's get this right hyar. Ben ends up in the desert after he moves the island, as per one of the old flashforwards, and then he goes after whitmore, right? I think that was the same episode. He enlists Sayid shortly after I think.

Correct on all counts. Although the timeline between Ben seeing Whitmoore and Sayid may be reversed, there wasn't anything to say which came first.

So the new season started and there's new Plot Twist Lets discuss

So whats up with Faraday? Why did they show a flashback of him being in the past with the Dharma Initiative.

Also is Widmoore part of the Dharma Initiative? How is Ben going to get them all back on the Island in less than 48 hours?

Also here's my theory of Faraday's mom.
You guys remember Ms. Hawking? The time travel chick who told Desmond what was going on with him. Well I think she is going to be be Faraday's mom.

Another thing, did the Island go to the future?

They didn't do a season recap episode before the premire did they. I can't remember much. I'm sure it'll all come back to me soon.

They did do a season recap. Actually, I think it was more of a recap of everything, specifically explaining the characters.

This season has been disappointing so far. In the commentary in the recap, the creators said season 5 would start answering more questions than it raises. That's not true so far. In fact, it's complicated things so much. Oh wow, the island skips through time, how cool... Not really. And how come just certain people skip through time, like Locke, Sawyer, Faraday, etc. and not other people like Richard, Ethan, and the 1950s Others?? But at least that 1950s Other chick was hot.
