I cut the edges of the F's, I think it looks more brutal. I'm also going to try and change the circular logo so its more eye appeasing...tell me what yall like better |

The only problem with the F and backward's F is that a couple other games have very similar logos (Wolfenstein, ETF, etc).
Our current logo is the words fortress forever and two crescent rolls (or [courtesy of Defrag] two mice wearing hats).

the shape of the circle quarters doesnt mean anything, thats my main problem with the existing logo.
Given time I am sure someone can come up with something that looks more like two f's I think you should officially start a logo competition, at least that way you will get a much better chance of finishing up with an absolutely kick ass logo rather than just an OK one I take the point that it might be worth the while waiting a little longer before you do this until the amount of community members has increased, that way you have a better chance of getting a logo you like. The worst that can happen is you stick with the original anyway |

If I had enough space left on my computer I would install all PS and Illustrator and have a try. But I only have 20MBs left of 250GBs .

I'm not digging that brushed metal effect at all.
You added a cloud/noise filter and then set it to motion blur. Thats like using lens flare, The logo itself is good though. Nice work. |

Yeah I think the brushed metal could be toned down slightly, same with the clouds. I suppose the effect it has on the actual logo is good, but the clouds and brushed metal outside of the logo is too strong.
The logo is good, but as mentioned by Mulchman, it is too similar to the ETF logo. |

I still like Nar's version of the logo in the thread RepairMan started. It was clever and pretty.
