Wierd Crash to Desktop Error

ENGINE ERROR

"Internal driver error in IDirect3DDevice9::Present()"

What the fuck. I just sorted out all the problems, then this happens. I also get another one that says something along the lines of:

"DirectX mesh error something something" or something like that.

What the hell is causing it? I have the latest version of DirectX, so I don't see why it should be doing this. I just updated my drivers, and even set the audio to medium.

Help?

Go to Start>Run and type in "dxdiag" without the quotes and see if that finds any errors. Or try lowering your directx settings in game.
