Is there a good all encompassing rcon guide out there somewhere?

There really isn't that much to it though...I mean it's essentially

In console type "rcon_password ____" where ____ is your server's rcon password. If you are unsure of what the password is, then you should contact the server admin and / or check the server.cfg.

Once you have entered your rcon_password, you will stay logged in until you disconnect from the server (you will still be logged in when the map changes).

To execute commands with rcon you MUST put "rcon" in front of any command(link somewhere) you wish to use.

eg: changelevel ff_2fort would not work, you must use rcon changelevel ff_2fort

I can't really think of anything else...I guess I'll put that on the wiki sometime lol.

i guess what i'm trying to figure out are the ways i can mess with the server when I'm not at home. for ex, at work, i'm on a little peon laptop that cant handle source so i cant start a game on my server and recon in that way, nor does gameservers hosting have any tools from the webserver admin side..are there any 3rd party apps that aloow you to get in to a server without having to join the server then rcon'ing?
