Well guess we have been violated by the old mighty steam/valve people again, now any of your friends that are playing FF just shows In-Mod, instead of Fortress Forever.

Well, I see this problem with every mod. I think Valve will fix it tomorrow.

Actually i am just seeing it on FF game, but seeing a few ppl on my list today some do still read FF. But yes let's hope it will be fixed, or if anyone knows a way to fix it, plz post here.

My generic servers thing is still broken. is anyone elses like this? I have to load up FF to see any servers.

Broke a bunch of shit with this "update"..... can't play TFC more than a few minutes again.

One day, we will all be vindicated..... when the Steam programmers are lined up against a wall and shot.

Disconnect: Client dropped by server.

Anyone know how to fix this?

I can play TFC and use Source SDK just fine, but any source games I play I get that damn error. I tried the normal tricks such as deleting that blob file with no avail.

I just keep typing retry till it works. Usually works the 2nd time

Strange though how TFC worked just fine.

maybe turn off your friend's list? thats what i do every time i go play ff on the internetz

When the update option appears, hit "Cancel"

step2 - punch yourself in the groin
step3 - repeat step 1 - 2

voila ff will work.
