I had the previous thread closed on this issue due to flaming but all that have followed the story I want to let you know that the final chapter is here. Camden is in his final hours as a little angel on earth who has fought so much and is now going to rejoin himself with god.

I can tell you from personal experience that it is the most helpless feeling you will ever have in your life.

knowing that there is absolutely NOTHING you can do, except try and make the person smile...... it really humbles you. It hurts in ways those who haven't experienced it simply can't understand.

I hope that sometime in the near future curing cancer, and other diseases which are often irreversible with out current medicine, will be a simple matter of a one or two day visit to the hospital.

this was a young child that I had no physical contact with nor emotional ties with before I started reading his story. It was almost like I was destined to see the posting on the wall and to follow along him and his familys journey. As musch as it seems selfish the story has changed myself as a person in the way I view life and what can happen within it. Nobody is given a set time range of being here and the losing of a child is never easy and an impossible senerio for myself to envision. I am very sad that Camden is gone from us here on earth since that sparkle in his eye and his smile could light up the room to let everyone know that life is here to be living. Not everyone will learn this lesson as I have through this until the time has come for them to trully understand and some have experienced it already in life.

All it took for me was to walk by a wall with his flyer on it a year ago to look into the eyes of a young boy fighting for his life to read his story. Now I sit with tears in my eyes for Camden will never have the chance to grow up or to experience life in all of its changes. This little angel has taught me something more important through his suffering that no matter what happens you must cherish everyday as it comes for nothing in life is guarenteed nor set in stone. Our time on earth is very limited so start loving and caring with what you have for someday it can be taken away as easily as it came.

I recommend to everyone that has followed this story that they take a few deep breaths before reading this for it is very emotional. This brave momma has decided to post one last message on the board to explain some things and it is very hard for me to read. Just think on how hard it was to write something like this if this was your 3 year old.
