i know this was brought up but i cant find it anywhere
i remember a post some time ago about HDR in FF, but for the life of me i cant remember what you guys said. i looked up HDR but for some apparent reason i cant find it...
so to repeat a question, just to help me out, with the release of lost coast, i was thinkin, will you guys eventually down the road incorporate HDR on select FF maps? mainly like bases or 2fort or badlands(blinded by the LIGHT!! AHH ) i know this was talked bout but i cant find it! and one more thing, is there any "official" information about the civilian u guys can tell us about? will the guy look like a old school civ or.. i know people discussed this also, but i want to hear it in your words if you could |

No... I don't believe that. No way did you search for 'hdr' and miss the thread titled 'hdr?'. You were either too lazy trying, or just ignored any old topics.

the problem i have with HDR is the fact that HL offeres a min spec of a 2.8 / 1gig ram / x800 - and thats VALVE saying that. Obv you can turn it off so it isnt really a massive problem, however i dont think it should be default, as that would not be noob friendly.

Steam determines what is "default" for any Source game based on your specs. If you can't handle HDR, it defaults to off.
