My advice would be to go back and revisit your map and really polish it up. 1 month of hard work should get you some half decent geometry and a general layout but you really need to go over each part of your map and fix it up visually and change stuff that isn't working well. When you think your map is done, you need to go back and work on it at least twice as long.

sir_frags, I'm locking this thread because you have broken the forum rules.
In terms of mapping, you won't always get the best feedback, but from the looks of it, you've gotten the beginnings. When I started as a FF mapper (right here on the public Mapping forum) it was a pain to get feedback - took weeks to get some decent, but you just have to be patient and work at it. Try new looks, show them off, do tutorials and compare your map with how the professionals (in many mods) do their work. I do believe people here were trying to be helpful. I hope you keep working on your map(s), and are a bit more laid back and take it in stride next time when people provide feedback. |
