Ok, so how do you expect me to say "this thread is stupid" without posting in it? I'd really like to know.

Don't say it at all? It's possible just to ignore it. Why do you feel the need to be an ass and tell people the thread they're posting in is stupid? I'd really like to know.

So you are saing the pipes are green just because the person who made that model felt they were green? That is not the same shade as the pipebomb.
Just using it support my interpretation. I really don't care, but I like to think of them as green seeing as I use that model.

That's an incredibly stupid piece of advice. It doesn't work in the real world.

Depends on what medium you are using. With light the primary colors are red/green/blue, with pigment they are red/yellow/blue. Monitor's deal in light colors, but it is representing an object which is colored with pigments. Thus, in the end looking at it from that viewpoint is null and useless :P

1) Decide you think a thread is stupid
2) Don't read it or post in it

How doesn't that work?

Certainly works for me eKiM

Rather than stupid i find this thread in an incredibly potent inciteful philosophical discussion that has left me pondering for some time head in hand stroking my beard.... it ranks right up there with other greats such as 'chicken and egg' 'nature or nurture?' 'bush or chimp?' nay even the very meaning of life itself!

In the interests of making little sence and drawing no real conclusions i am prepared to say it is the colour GEELNOW

i always thought of them as green, but might people's color setting on thier graphix/monitor, change thier perception of this? just either keep it the same puke color, or change it completely. or do what the valve developers did, puke in a trash can and see what color it is.

Yeah, I have no clue how people can get yellow out of them ?_?

Maybe it has to do with people's gfx cards....

It's more yellow than green.

Pure yellow is 60° on the colour wheel and pure green is 120.° The pipes are ~70°.
