So im between a rock and a hard place... any suggestions?

So yeah, my dad just called me concerning my grades in college. Yeahh... i just got a D in two of my classes. Which in all honesty, one of those where because the teacher had a deep hate towards me, and really any other student that asked questions in class.

Any ways so he just left a message saying i need to find another place to live soon because i broke the rules. Thing is, hes letting me stay in a house rent free with free internet (which is shitty wireless from his office next door, and it drops every 10 minutes). I dont wanna go to UNLV near my mom (wich will probably give me loads more money than my dad) because UNLV is as college like as a shitty Junior College. UNLV really does suck.

Any one have some good techniques and/or arguments to persuade him?

There are many dynamics to cosider here. Are you dishonest towards him? How would you define your relationship with your dad? What does he do for a living? If it were my son, he wouldn't be able to persuade me otherwise, as breaking the rules is breaking the rules. You really should thank your lucky stars that you have a second chance at college in any case.

If you knew the teacher hated you, its your fault for not dropping it and moving to another. If it was the only class of that type, get it from another accredited college, said shitty community college.

If I was dad, I'd do different things depending on how long you've got left. If I was paying for it and it was your first year, it'd be probation. If you were a sophomore and had been fucking off the entire time, boot to the street bitch, go live with mommy. Yeah, I know how hard college is, you get out of it what you put into it. If you work hard, you make good grades, if you fuck off, you fail. Dumbasses can't get into college, even the average Joe in high school can pass college, with C's but thats all you need to get a degree.

I just goto cut my hair, he says i look too much like a partier (wich i am). so thats the only hard thing

If you f-up your grades, then you f-up your grades.
Transfer to a Jr. collage for a year or two. You can always try to transfer back once you fix your grades.

Also, how long have you been at this college? Because if you've already been there for a few semesters then there is no one to blame but yourself. If this is your first semester then it's possible the school is just a bad fit.
