yea it doesn't look too bad. this is one of the maps i was lookin at the other day. its a shame that there are so many maps that were abandoned. but i start to wonder if it were completed, would it get played anyway? the majority of players vote for the same maps over and over. although i have noticed its been spiced up a little bit lately on moto's sexy time fun house.

I didn't realize this was doable until mooney told me yesterday

I always knew that goldsrc maps got really fucked up if you decompiled them and I just assumed that decompiling hl2 maps would be distorted as well. Mind blown.

You might lose the textures but the basic geometry will be fairly unmolested. Decompiling quake maps and porting them to source otoh...

Just played this, nice map and great lighting, the layout is a refreshing change and was quick to learn, why is this not played much !!!!

Its hallways are a bit cramped. There's another one that was made that is similar, I think it's called toogood, that has the same basic layout, but is bigger. Also not as sexy as this map, but it plays better methinks.

toogood sux need sobad.
:P

toogood is different.

Similar yet larger foyer, but different routes through fr.

differences in stax:
- Less height differences (the left and right routes don't go so far up)
- Smaller in general,
- Left route doesn't lead directly to flag,
- Back route to flag has walls,
- Flag is on a elevated position, can be conc'd into from all of fr,
- Flag is surrounded by security rather than the inner flag room on toogood having security around,
- No lift in foyer,
and prolly other stuff I don't remember.

Also, toogood uses the concrete textures that have all smeared grey all over them to make them look 'realistic' when it makes them look shitter.

idk i think gray textures can look good but the way toogood did them i don't like.
