thank you some progress is being posted but i hope theres alot more because a year for 5 things kinda would make me a bit sad.

also do you have any idea on about when you will release full change list because i want to see it.

Ya, I understand there's ways to beat it, my comment was more about when there is only 1 guy that's capable of doing that on the team.

In my head i'm picturing ksour first cap. The majority of games the only reason the team breaks out of the gate is because 1 guy on the team can cap the flag. Otherwise all the "fodder" just dies to the incesent spam at the gate.

And when you're playing with experienced people, even now we need to send 2 people in, 1 to trigger the pipes, the 2nd to follow. With the HW, you'll theoretically need to send 3 people in back to back. 1 for the HW, 1 for the demo, 1 for the cap. Going against really experienced people, you'd need to send 4, 1 more for the dispenser.

I'm not shooting down the idea or anything, I'm pretty eager to see these changes. That's really the only scenario off the top of my head that could cause an issue.

Holy shit, teamwork.

I can see where you're coming from, though. Especially with how fast defense can reposition and restock/return in FF, if the heavy can slow down the offense while everyone else on his team runs over to help him...

We'll see. I'm kinda liking this all, though - it brings back a degree of skilled control that we need to have in the game.

I'm picturing the viability of HW/Solly 2v2 on many maps. With that slow down grenade of the HW's a practiced duo could get a lot of rpg airshots.

Xpress could be pretty interesting.

*Edit* How long does the slow down nade last? (Also what's it called?)

Squeek did any spy changes make it into this patch or is that waiting till 2.5?

Honestly Drak, i'm not sorry to say "Thank God". It seemed a bit ridiculous that a light class can run straight at the heaviest class in the game and just insta kill him. He could only do it because while the HW was shooting he had no mobility to avoid the stupid knife. Any other class can easily run and shoot.

The spy has to go back to sneaking around, not full on assaults.

Hammock I'll still be able to do what i do, it'll just be harder now to kill HWs compared to really easy.


And the Spy beta changes are actually tuning spies more to my play style and less along the sneaking around aspect. At least as far as i know.

But I've been practicing all aspects of the spy not just the knife part, which is my favorite.

Hammock, don't you think the defense could use a boost in this game?

I'm interested in the floating flag change, instead of avoiding the water, it will actually be beneficial to toss in the water for conced water skipping on certain maps. One small step for offense, one giant leap for defense. I like all the changes except for the sollies new grenades, I thought the nail grenade was more useful because you couldn't predict its trajectory like the laser. The laser grenade seems pretty easy to avoid for a skilled scout and does it not explode at the end? The explosion was key.

I think it seems pretty balanced. 1 less mirv class eliminates a lot of spam, the slow nade and push counters the floating flag. The new changes encourage team work more efficiently imo. Maybe offense won't dominate anymore, and pickups might not consist of 8+ caps.

HW did severely need some changes though, so gj on that
