STOP WRITING CHAT TOPICS IN GENERAL DISCUSSION!

WOULD EVERYONE STOP WRITING CHAT TOPICS IN GENERAL DISCUSSION!

This forum is about topics concerning FF such as "Green or Yellow" (it concerns FF!), "TFC vs FF graphics" and "the release process" NOT "what do YOU play on??", "What servers do you haunt?" and "What do you guys do..."

Don't those last topics strike you as a "chat" type topic.. does for me!

So Please guys I know you all mean well but the forum is split up into different areas for a reason. Let's try and keep our topics going to where they belong.

P.S: Ya this topic should be in general discussion cuz it concerns FF and more importantly this own area!

Green or Yellow is really nothing but idle chatter, it serves no purpose.

In my eyes... General and Chat are the same thing. Too many forum topic areas if you ask me. Combine them and make them simple.

General is for FF/other TF mods. Chat is for anything not related to the other forums. They are not the same thing.

Youre not a forum mod so dont go around acting like one, you are in no position to tell people what they can and cant do!

If a thread is off-topic for this forum it will be moved at the mods discretion and not because someone like you believes they know best.

Returner's heart is in the right place... so dont be too hard on him. But I still disagree with you returner.

Of course I am sure the mods will stay on top of any thread that winds up in an inappropriet place.

Since General Discussion falls under the Fortress Forever category, anything related to the game of Team Fortress, Fortress Forever, etc. is appropriate here.

Off Topic -> Chat is just that: a place for for stuff not related to TF, FF, etc. For example a thread on "Which do you like better, apples or ninja swords?" would be more appropriate in the Off Topic -> Chat forum

ok well I also am seeing duplicates in the chat and general forum area so maybe ppl can look in there first before posting a new topic. Such as what machine you play on. This was in the chat forum where I think it belongs and someone made a duplicate in gen.. whatever

I'm sorry I guess no one else feels the way I do so continue as you were!

Well the "What kind of computer do you have" thread doesn't belong in General Discussion. Not to mention there is already a topic like it in the Chat section. Thats the only thing I've seen that is off topic. But until FF is released, it isn't that big of a deal since we can only talk about so much before it turns into a "chat" situation.

Placing the Off-Topic area above General Discussion would discourage users from putting OT-stuff in General Discussion. Many other forums I have seen are set up this way, and the General Discussion gets a lot less spam.

Quit acting like a mod and stop whining , they'll do what's supposed to be done.
