QFT. Luigi was really bad. Mario was actually ok, but Dr. Mario was really good. One of the upper tier characters. All the clones seemed like total clones at first (especially Dr. Mario, actually) but they were in fact quite a lot different.

Both of those characters were pretty bad. Middle of the pack, maybe.

Well maybe Luigi was bad for you but once you master him, he's pretty much kick ass and also he had a crit hits as well.

I also knew of a guy who was a better Link than I was and till this day I dont anyone that has beat him.

Just b/c you suck with a character, doesnt mean it sucks in general

It's just like FF.

There's at least one Scout out there who can crowbar anyone to death and walk away alive. It's not how Scout was meant to be played, but it's out there.

To build on Ihmhis example, no scout who is good enough to often beat the average player to death with a crowbar can out DM a soldier who is as much advanced beyond the average soldier as that scout is.

I am the best smash brothers player I have ever met. Smash Bros is the only game I've ever played competitively (including TFC). I've met and talked with a lot of VERY talented people. Luigi isn't a good character. I've seen people with deadly Link strategies*, but Luigi lacked power, speed and a variety of useful moves. His side smash and foreward+a in the air are admitedly two of the best in those roles, but his B moves were largely useless. Falco and Fox utterly outclass Luigi in terms of power and speed, not to mention range. Again, Luigi isn't the worst, not nearly, but he simply cannot compete with many of the other characters.

*which are too repetitive and predictable to be effective for more than a minute or two.

Elitists don't like Brawl, and thus will avoid it, probably. Mainly because they took away Wavedashing, air is more important and the game is slower overall.

Their loss though ;D
