Interest in an 24/7 ADL and 24/7 CTF?

I currently have two servers, and am looking for ways to get more players in. I was thinking of setting one up as 24/7 AvD, and the other 24/7 CTF.

Any thoughts? Thx

AvD = Attackers vs Defenders (Anticitizen, Dustbowl)

Could be something like Anticitizen/Dustbowl/CZ2 or vote (vote being anything that falls in the AvD category. Palermo, Cornfield, Ksour_classic, etc.) Could really help peak an interest in the AvD game type.

Make a 24/7 Dustbowl/Unclecitizen server. That should do ya.

People will get tired of it if you only do DB-Style.

The wisest option would be (for example): Dustbowl - Cornfield/Palermo - Anticitizen - Ksour_classic

If we had Avanti, it would probably replace Cornie/Palermo.

Also, it has to have a rtv option with all AvD maps available (few options huh? D=)

Typically people who like AvD like a lot of action. Waterpolo and murderball aren't bad choices for the AvD server either even if they're not the same gameplay.

Heh, I remember that when the peeps at .id made a mapnight, the last map was usually ukfootie. It was a nice way to relax after playing four maps in a row at your best.

*Edit: So it may be a good idea to put at least a fun map, even if it's just voteable.*

A few of us have been getting a ksour game going, and ppl just come in vets or beginners and everyone is having a blast, even vertigo << i love that map its a epic detpack fest.

mushy hurry get that new map out FAST!
oh one thing i disagree on, hunted sucks

imo that's it. well maybe once a month be ok, lzol

We need an ADL server soon. I set the AE clan server to Anticitizen. When it ended the first time I restared the map and it's full.... I can't even join.

Actually I wouldn't mind a hunted round every now and then in that lineup I listed. I sorta like the map since it's a deviation from 24/7 ctf.

Except if there's class restrictions on it, we were playing it on an AE server the other day and snipers were limited to 3 (or 4) for the assassin's team. So it was 14v4 which sorta sucked for the assassins. I got stryder to lift the cap and it almost instantly leveled out to 12v7. Which made for far more assassinations and ultimately more interesting for everyone imo.
