Diablo 2 & LOD.

So uh, anybody played/plays it?

It's still a greate game despite how old it is. I'm buying the Expansion the 3rd time.

First time I just lost track of it, or just it got damaged.

Second time I had both of them, but sold Diablo 2 and cd key to my friend, which left me with the Expansion. So I used torrent to get Diablo II.

Third time, I'm getting both, again. The game gave me a "This cdkey is for another product" error, I guess that's what I get for having the Expansion on a disc, and Diablo II on a torrent.

I played that game quite a bit... I had a 98 sorc pre1.10 and some others though I can't really remember it all. I did some low level duels on a 30 chargedin too, that was fun; he hit for almost 3k. though I tried to get back into it recently and it seems a guy I knew who borrowed my account got it banned lol. but whatever. it's a fun game, though there's no way i'm gunna buy it again. heh

I got into it again about a year ago. I made a meteorb sorc without actually knowing it was a viable build before hand. Got about 60 before I beat act 5 hell. Fastest and earliest I beat D2+expansion.

After that, all my other characters were boring and drab =\. Act 3 is also the dumbest thing they could have done. "LETS MAKE A JUNGLE THAT IS A MAZE! YEAH!"

Orly? Last I heard D3 was known as Hellgate London, at least until people stopped caring about HL... besides, Project Hydra as D3? It makes me lol irl.

Blizzard has stated that it's not a new franchise. WoW has another expansion coming, SC2 is under development, what else would Hydra be?

Hellgate: London is far from even being a diablo clone. It's a completely different kind of game. I never understood how the masses ever came about calling it D3. Just because it's made by the same people doesn't make it the same game.

If anything, Mythos is D3... but it's waaaaay to cutesy to be anything Diablo related.

But Diablo II was an awesome game. I got into a few several-month-long fits of playing with my roommate. And there's nothing more fun than a javazon, even though their damage isn't so hot. The furthest I ever got on bnet was 92 with a bowazon (and a level 92 rogue merc just for kicks

).

Anyone ever manage to do any of the post hell Baal stuff like with the keys and lilith and the torches? Me and my roommate got lilith down to like 1% health and held her there for 10 minutes but we couldn't kill her. That shit's insane.

Man I loved this game...me and my younger brother used to play all the time. Sucks though b/c we are both really OCD about games like that and we have to check every nook and cranny so we ended up playing forever!

Biggest video game pet peev of mine is people who don't go down hallways or in doors to get everything!

I pulled in hundreds of keys on my Bone Necro and gave them to my close friends to do runs. I got a few torches that I could use on my classes in return.
