"SDK is broken" thread (may 25 update)
Someone should start a thread every time the SDK breaks. *cough*
There was discussion about it in almost every active map thread so I thought I'd put a place to consolidate any info anyone has on it. Like Sidd42 posted the custom source tools. Having posted this, the SDK will probably be repaired just to make my efforts look silly, but you never know... |

Or you could just bump this thread when that occurs.

Maybe I could edit the title and bump the thread when it happens. I don't know if it's worth stickying...

Yea but will it correct the compile errors?
Edit: Aw crap. I still get the Runtime Error R6025 - pure virtual function call error on vbsp. Last edited by o_nezumi; 06-01-2006 at 12:06 PM. |

Hm, I was just messing w/ one of my test maps the other day just fine in hammer (yesterday, to be exact). Is the error fixed then?

Hammer is still not fixed for me. I get a really weird error in the way it draws the func_monitor on aardvark (moves around and shit in the display window as you look around, but it isn't actually where it's drawing it if you try to click on it...). I'm too busy to do any mapping atm, and haven't tried compiling at all, but I hope they fix it soon...

I've not had any problems which people have been going on about, Hammer and HLMV work fine for me.
Other people on my mod team have everything broken. |

Oh crap, I just relised that the 'pure virtual funciton call' error isn't happening on all maps, which means it may be a problem with my map and not the compiler.
There's a mention of it here, http://developer.valvesoftware.com/w...gs/Hammer_bugs but no solution. I may try to contact a friend of mine to compile some things for me. |

Just for the record, I just tried to compile for the first time since update and it appears that my SDK is borked.
Boo. |
