Well I played the original CS for a looong time, and then I switched to source and noticed no difference. Maybe it's just me.

They may not be the same, but I bet if you take someone who knows what they are doing in QTF they will have no problem picking up TFC. Sure, they probably won't be concjumping like a mad man right off the bat but the basics are the same in both games.

what? I meant that to someone who hasn't played the games, it would look the same, but there's a huge number of gameplay differences

PC beats console gaming hands down. But I have a 360 for those rare games that are fun and you aren't going to see on the PC, i.e. I like the Smackdown! vs. RAW series.

Linking your console to your PC to play music is pretty neat. Now that I can take videos and turn them into WMVs and play them on the 360 as well is awesome.

But buying movies and music on the console itself is pointless; buying games (360 arcade is neat) makes sense. I'd rather rent a DVD for $1 down the street in the automatic machine than store some movie on any HD. Which is why past renting I buy very few DVDs.

Just some thoughts.
