Plus superjer knows where I live. He'd come over here and bitch slap me if I tried.
Not that I would. The name isn't up for debate. The walls and skybox I might do something about. |

Those artists aren't ripping off other artists per say, they are sampling which seems to be very popular in rap/hip hop/R&B. They need permission to use or reproduce the older productions.
Anyways, this is a very popular map and I'd agree with Nezumi about the name. Though it could obviously have a better name, its known for this one. Otherwise, I like the design, nice and simple. |

OK!!
Serious gameplay update! One of the devs said recently that it will be possible to access a players velocity with LUA. I'm hoping it will also be possible to parent an entity to players. If both things function as I want them to, then I'm going to parent a trigger_hurt to the feet of every player, so that basically if you land on someone you'll hurt them. The thing is, the damage on the trigger hurt will be scaled by a players velocity. I'm thinking (v-20)*2, where v is the vertical component of your velocity in mph. If you're going less than 20 mph, you don't do any damage. If you're going 70 mph (which is about how fast you're moving when you're falling down from being launched) you'll likely kill someone if you land on them. This way players are rewarded for landing directly on someone's head, whereas in awp_snowsk337 if a skeet landed on a shooters head they would die instead of landing safely. |

I still play this map in CS quite a lot (albeit tir_pigeon). I'll be interested to see how it works in FF, but you definitely need to get weapon drops in there somehow. Being spies and able to disguise sounds like a nice touch, though.
Hope you can make it less buggy than the original too :P |
