TMNT: Trailer 2
Good news and bad news.
First the good news...trailer 2 is out. Now the bad news...this next TMNT movie is like TMNT crossed with Toy Story. Definitely targeting a very young audience. http://www.apple.com/trailers/wb/tee...tles/trailer2/ |

Good news is that the 2nd trailer has been out for a very long time, and the even better news is that imo, it hasn't changed at all in it's targeted audience.
I'm going to see this on day 1. |

Yes Jinx, I'm not really a fan of TM(N- or hero)T but that's the reason why it's just a disappointment really. But not forgetting it is a children's show away.

I finally got Quicktime fixed so I could watch the trailer. Looks more for kids, but good fun.
I like the visual style. It's not overt CGI like Toy Story etc., but it's not quite cell-shaded either... it really does look very comic-bookish somehow. |

I'm a really big fan of the look of that movie.
I'm probably gonna hate the movie itself but I still really want to see it. |

I'm going to see it the day it comes out! Although I don't think it can compare to the original TMNT movie, it's still a childhood favorite, nonetheless.
(same goes with Transformers. Childhood favorite = see it the day it comes out) |

Maybe shows like Thunder Cats, TNMT, and Transformers should just stay dead so we can remember how awesome they were when we were all kids and not how lame they are now that we are all nearly adults. It seems like movie studios are trying to prey on childhood TV watching more often.

I agree with you on that one. A bit like music as well, example Gwen Stefani with the sound of music sample, you could say that is sacred stuff that shouldn't be touched.

[edit] Look I don't want to start a flame-war here. Your initial response to my comment felt like a pretentious, irrelevant jab to mock me, though. Sorry if I misinterpreted it. I come to this board to have fun, joke around, and have casual conversation about shared interests. I don't feel like having everything I say ripped apart by the grammar police etc. Last edited by o_jinx; 01-31-2007 at 10:39 PM. |

I was making a joke about the fact that Tyrus' phrasing made it sound as if he felt the original TMNT movies were somehow not targeted at a younger audience. Maybe Uber just missed what I was teasing Tyrus about? |

Honestly, I don't even know who is talking about what about who now. Could someone close this thread, because it has clearly reached the threshold and passed into pointless stupidity.
