explosion sprites...looking for

ok, here are screenshots of explosion sprites i am looking for
they are not league legal....but i never play matches at all (and prolly never will), so that doesnt matter

if anyone know where i can DL these, or if you need a few more screenshots to see what they look like. tell me

I dont know where you can down load them. Have you tryed File front and the other TFC file places?

explosion sprites are also banned on alot of pubs via they use ETAB(ETANA...one of those stupid things)

they dont give you any more skill or anything..i liked them but i dont know why they were banned when AVAILABLE TO EVERYONE

best bet is to stay with default

Because not everyone likes them. Availability aside, you can't predict how many people are A: Going to want different sprites. B: Going to want those sprites and C: Going to be able to find said sprites.

In a soccer game anyone is capable of punching another player in the face. That doesn't make it fair game. (Unless the reff isn't looking)

k if you dont like them dont use them, i dont see the point of it giving that palyer an advantage

one a few maps may if be an advantage (adl maps mostly) other than that....stupid leagues :/

well, im helping a guy find them that runs a server, and he wants to use them, plus he runs the server, only server i play on
so i dont think it will be a problem

so, no one has seen them around???????

I didnt want to start a fair unfair war :P I dont care if any one wants to use them. No I havent see them around for a while. I know you could Down load them from File front a long time ago. I do think its an advantage becuse it makes the explotion area easyer to see. Its not that big a deal though

the only way they seem "suspect" is that they are a little trans.
like he said, try custom tfc, or google.

unsure, however do some server have regulators what wont alow you to join unless your exp sprites are default?

there a servers that do various things

if you have different explosion sprites for instance when you connect to a server that doesnt allow it, it will ssay "error: bad file something or other with sprites/explode1"

some servers blow custom player models as well

They won't be on Custom-tfc. They decided that they don't want custom explosions there because such things are h4x. They used to be on TFC:Customized, but since that died... your only bet is google.

Well they are see through..

There has been alot of times that I have thrown a nade.. Only to see it explode and someone run past.

I sometimes use nades as cover too.

As said it's a great advantage with transparent explosionsprites on A/D maps, both on assaulting team and defending team.

If you're attacking you can easily jump out see through the explosions and destroy/kill sentries and defenders. On defence the same thing you can see through the spamming of explosions and cap enemies.

These are just a few of the advantages and thus could be considered a Hax since it offers an unfair advantage over the general server population.

Same as using big custom sprites for sniperdots enabling you to spot snipers more easily and avoid their sight.

If I had them available, id give you a link, but I also could not find them using yahoo / google. If you do find them, I wouldn't mind hosting them on www.hlevolve.com (login and submit or email them to me) It's ashame to see so much custom work disapear like it has lately with TFcustomized going down and all. Any authors that have custom models, sprites, anything that want to upload them to my site are all all welcome to, because it's not going anywhere

I would really like to get alot more content on it like custom-tfc has, perhaps when FF is released it will help.
