Forgot to mention... nice to see the HUD too. I also like the way the onscreen gfx appear for when you're hit

Looks awesome guys, can't wait to play. Love the double jumping, been waiting for some double jumping action since my quake 2 days.
Also, if its not a place holder, please change the sound of the AC. Needs to be much beefer and to me it just isn't the same without that distinctive wind up and wind down sound. If its a place holder then just ignore all this. Also that scout yelling about being infected then falling over was fucking priceless, made me laugh out loud. |

WOAH an update! Looks awesome. The guy who died from poison death in the video made me lol, especially the way he rolled.
Looks like you couldn't quite go 4 months without an update. P.S. Was the 'double jump' an actual double jump or a trimp? It's hard to tell. Edit edit: Does the back of the SG say "Warning: Rockets in Pockets"? Edit edit edit: The armor/medic voices are perfect. Just wierd enough to be unique. I think it looks 10x more like TFC than Q3F/ETF.
Of course my opinion is based upon my 6+ years of Q3F/ETF experience and about 5 minutes of TFC experience! I don't really see much difference between FF and TFC, besides for the obvious graphics. But like I said, thats because I haven't played TFC much. Oh and this video is 10x better than the Dustbowl Valley video! |

well considering TFC = HL1 Engine, and FF = HL2 Engine, theyre going to look more alike than the Quake Fortress games etc.
Plus the fact that id say at least 70% of the dev team migrated from TFC. Oh, and if you havnt played TFC much, youve been missing out silly! |

That one "double jump" in the forts ramp-room is possible in ETF through "trimping".
Not exactly sure if what they mean by "double jump" is the same as what the etf'ers refer to as "trimping". The names sound totally different... |
