Whoa. You could eat a fucking semi.
Seriously though, did I mention I want this game? I've had it on pre-order since the official release date announcement. I'll have it Tuesday. THE WAITING IS DRIVING ME INSANE.

I spent a ridiculous amount of time on Morrowind.. I can't wait for Oblivion too, and can't imagine how people that have been playing since The Elder Scrolls : Arena must be feeling.

I don't remember how long I've been waiting, but I pre-ordered it a long ass time ago, then cancelled the pre-order when I heard of the delay, and just pre-ordered again when the release date was announced...

I didn't much like Morrowind, but Oblivion looks promising.

The new one looks pretty, but so do all the new games. Until I read some reviews and/or get a demo, I'm not touching it. After that piece of shit Doom3 I'm not buying anything based on name or reputation anymore. |

I loved Morrowind after leaving it for a couple of years unused (and with my old computer not being able to handle it), so I'm very much looking forward to this... only problem now is whether it'll run on this PC.

you can't even trust reviews anymore since the game publishers basically BUY the magazines out by promising exclusives.

Hahaha, the rat killed you?
Anyways... Jinx and Jiggles should look forward to two of the bigger changes, judging by their posts! 1. Combat system changed. If you swing and your weapon contacts an enemy, you hit. No "swish," no die roll. Your stats still determine what damage you do, if any, but you'll hit! 2. Fast travel returns! Now you can immediately travel between all the major cities, as well as any minor cities you've already visited. You'll also be able to ride a horse to get between places faster.

Yeah. My brother actually built a new PC just for the game several months ago. Turns out he has all the hardware Bethsoft recommends, and will be able to run the game perfectly.
Scability-wise, the lead developer of the Morrowind expansion Bloodmoon plays Oblivion on the same PC he used to develop BM - in 2002. So it should work just fine for you.

Yeah I've been looking forward to this game for a long time. I never played any of the other games. So this will be a new one on me I had thought about pre-ordering it, and almost did, but I'm really in no big hurry right now, I am about to purchase a $5,000 4-wheeler (Brand new 2006 350 Honda Fourtrax Rancher) and I'm sure I'll be having enough fun on that to occupy my time and get a bit of outside time. Which will also allow time for people to give thier reviews on the game, and I can later decide if I still want to get it. As far as looks are concerned though, damn.
