I live far away from Brighton, and British food isn't all bad--you just need to know what to avoid! :P

The thought of ever having to go to Brighton is a troubling one for me.

Heh. Never been to Brighton.
A conference? Does Britain have a rep for horrible food?

We do, however, have some very good Indian and Chinese restaurants. :P

I gather its from the lack of spices and flavoring used whilst cooking, am I correct or am I just fucking amazing?

I suppose, a place a FOREIGNER would visit for British food = a British pub = LOTS OF GREASE = horrible, tasteless and greasy food + high colesterol = death.
Proper, traditionally cooked British food prepared properly IS NOT horrible, it is actually nice! Like I said, you just need to know what to avoid :P |

Meh, I like British food, whenever I go aboard my food seems to come layered with about 9 litres of cooking oil D:
