Organized Pick Up Games?

recently I've been playing late night TF2 pick up games. However, I got kicked out last night for "not being good enough."

I really enjoy the communication in PUGs and was wondering if there were any other PUG communities that I can join. A Vent-based community would be best since game just don't play the same when people don't have mics.

I don't really mind which game, but TF2 or FF would be best

Most of the time 1 person on either team has a vent to use i know mimic and goodfellas have vents to use

you might want to let them know your not that good so if teams need to be changed they can...only tards like blow outs with uneven teams

yeah it depends on who you play with. most people dont care if you suck (hell, i play in pickups all the time!), but theres a few that will bitch and moan or give you shit if you arent up to their standards. just let people know you are rusty and they should accommodate you by balancing the teams and helping you out.

gamesurge is american pickups and quakenet is for euro pickups. if you dont mind a higher ping, the euro pickups are a blast to play. great guys. the american pickups are awesome to play sometimes, not so great at others. all depends on who you play with.

In the euro pickups if a person isnt that high skilled we try to help them out by giving tips about positioning, moving with the team and things like that.

If you pay attention and listen you will be rewarded and progress in your "skill" fairly fast.

If you are willing to learn then playing pickups is an effective way to go.
