Trickjumpers for beta testers.
It seems that the dev team hasn't recruited any trickjumpers for beta testing (I mean skilled people, not the HH-ramp slide concers)... now, if I'm wrong, please correct me. But you stated that you wanted to keep trickjumping relatively the same. This is immensely hard to do if you don't have people who push concs, rockets, and movement to the limit of the engine. So, why hasn't the dev team asked any trickjumpers to test it out? Based on the videos, pipejumping is already going to be a different ball game it seems (I won't whine about it though), and we havn't seen much else on the trickjumping side of things.
Tl;dr: No full time trickjumpers as beta testers = chance for minor screwups with conc power and such = loss of community. So, why havn't we seen more trickjumping beta testers? Will we be seeing them as development goes on? We're a major part of the community, just like pubbers. |

Because frankly, the game should be fun for everyone else first, trickjumping is kind of a secondary thing.
As well, don't expect to be able to do all the same shit that you could do in TFC, because we're talking about a different game here |

The request isn't exactly unreasonable anyway, considering they spoke of Wheaties doing a skills/tricks .avi. Only Fortress Forever can decide whether I continue playing TFC to conc or not; what ever the outcome, I will be a happy person : ) |

Just because its not exactly the same doesn't mean its not possible already. Even though I'm not a programmer, I understand that they have been able to port many of the abilities over without changing any of the variables.
But I also believe you're getting ahead of yourself, just because we haven't put out anything pushing the concjumping crewz doesn't mean the devs have put that out of mind. Concmaps came from the ability to concjump being in the game - someone didn't invent concjumping just to make maps up to jump on. Concs seem to be slightly weaker right now, but we they work so we haven't tweaked them yet, thats a lower priority than say spawning while leaning sideways. But you can bhop, albeit at a lower cap than the pros are used to, you can rampslide, chophop, shark. If I missed any, tell me and I'll do it, or get someone to do it, we're working on vids right now. |

Practical jumper, not many of the elite concmap jumpers can do what you do either.

I will get flamed for saying this but i havent seen anyone good concmap player being even decent on normal games, in my eyes anyway
