Your TFC Movement Capabilities

Which option best describes your TFC movement capabilities? Select the highest applicable one. There's no perfect order to put them in so I just did what I thought was the best. With even more movement techniques being added to FF it makes me curious as to what level the people who are interested in it are at. It's a private poll so even those who are ashamed can vote!

Oh and if you're a Level 1, please stop and stand to the side so I can get past. Thanks.

I guess I'm up to bunnyhopper. Can't maintain 1.7x but I can typically start bhopping from a landing (assuming I'm not already over the cap).

by "bhop on landing" I meant hitting the ground after concing/whatever (travelling faster than 1.7x) and going straight into a fast bhop without coming to a dead stop or having to do a flick start, etc.

if u conc at high velocity, then hit the ground and jump the engine is going to throw u into a wall most likely, and slow u down right away, unless of course you just that damn good *winks*

Where's the category for irritating pyro double jumpers? You remember that guy... he'd steal the flag in 2fort and ic/nade jump out the elevator shaft.

<--was that guy

the trick to not stopping after a conc is to not jump immediately when you hit the ground...no? i may be remembering wrong. you don't keep full speed but you don't lose much plus you only conc as faster classes (scout/medic) so when you land you're moving fast anyway...

In the current version of TFC with capped bhop this is impossible; the only way I've ever done it was chop hopping. If you're thinking of QWTF or Q3F then I believe it's possible. Any QWTFers care to clarify?

Host a 1.5 server though and it's great fun, it feels much more fluid.

It's doable in TFC. You have to time it right so the friction slows you down to the cap before you jump.

by not jumping immediately... if you JUMP right away it stops you, if not then you just go at max speed then jump shortly after.

It's not that much slower than scout. Skulks went about 300 units, so 500+ bunnyhopping.
