I don't get all those textures. Its so... dirty :P

If I make a christmas map, then I must make a Hanukkah map too, but srsly it wont be a remake with a xmas theme if I do that.

Overall it looks like a great start and maby you should add some rounded off corners instead of all with sharp edges. Gives it that boxy type of look. Also you might want to add some scenery with rock and smoke maby some trucks. Make it look like your in a somewhat realistic place if it is industrial themes. I dont mean extra doors or anything just some outside of the map detail.

And even if you end up not making this map its always practice.

And should only be practice, unless he is completely changing the layout as a I mentioned earlier. I do not see the point in two people working on the same map, especially when mine is pretty much complete.

Thing is... that it would be rude for me to tell you to stop working on it. I don't want you doing that . Seems to me like you have a basic layout going on, so why not finish it up and add some new ways / architecture / paths and mix it all up and call it your own unique map. Good luck and I hope you continue this project by adding some uniqueness to it.

Away from home and stuck with a shitty PC with Pentium 3 (which I don't map with). I'll be home in a couple weeks (most likely more, talking June-July possibly), doing a research in Florida.

sirtiger is right about it being an easy remake as far as practically transitioning it from hl1 to hl2, which is essentially all I did. I'm not going to throw away the .vmf, but, fad, if Gator can pump something out that's better he can have it regardless of when he started. There's a big gap in my abilities. I can remake a map from TFC giving it a slight revamp here and there, and I can make new maps that aren't based on anything. The problem comes when I try to remake a map into something new and better with the same basic layout.
