Extra Screen/Comp Ideas?

I set up a "server rack" (pics later once I get a KVM switch). But I have a screen and several random computers connected to it...

What can I run on that spare screen?

I'm thinking like a news-ticker or a clock and calender or something. There is also a keyboard/mouse set up.

I would probably use it as a calendar. Put up important dates and the like on it, and that way it's always there.

I already have 2 screens on my main computer Shadow. This is just a crappy LCD that's on my server rack.

Honestly, no. I do know outlook or something(never used it, but it's a microsoft product) has a calendar function with it. My desktop also has a calendar on it, but that's because it's a webpage as a desktop and it's also a tiny calendar. A quick google pops up a couple of programs, but they're more along the lines of one you'd use on a computer screen you actively use.

i've always wanted a rack with several servers/appliances in it but it comes down to power consumption and practicality (and of course being married doesn't help!)

I don't. almost all of my extra computer equipment have been given to me. All of it is older and used. I'm not some rich kid buying up shit. I'm a techie who has old random equipment lying around and was expecting others with similar situations to give me some recommendations.

ok fair enough. but just note i/we were none the wiser until you pointed that out.

i was once told about how software caters to a need of the user, and the hardware caters to that software, not the other way around. i agree entirely with it, but of course this only applies to when you're buying stuff :P
