I only use the word for fun i wouldn't use jolly in a serious conversation. Well actually i do now (jolly' is used informally in Britain) "jolly decent of him" It is very rare or (unlikely) that you would actually hear someone use it though. |

I have trying to play TF on Quakeworld just because of this movie. For me It looks like a good conc jump maps, without hand holding, and others tricks (maybe TF have not theses..). Last edited by o_drs; 03-31-2006 at 07:44 PM. |

He he! George Michael, i was singing along to that.
I've never actually played Quake TF because i never knew it existed at the time. I was introduced to Half-life by a Friend and noticed Team fortress classic with it. So i got in to team fortress classic. I have played Quake and the others but I've never fully like them. Yes they are brilliant games but I'm not Kean on the strange cult feel of it, thats why i stay away. Last edited by o_paft; 03-31-2006 at 07:58 PM. |

And while all my friends say me TFC is shit (I cry), saying CS and UT are better, as a fan of TFC, I look at TF (old game) and I found it was more interesting than their games... But not having the graphics. But gameplay is. I have play CS (= Bullshit). UT (= Bullshit). UT:Fortress (= bullshit)... Q3F ? (= Bullshit). (sorry for the word, but if I translate it in french it's not as bad). All my life as a gamer belong to TFC gameplay. I have try to play ("Q4", not a game), Q3? (for wankers isn't it ?)... Q3 players say TFC is slow, but they never play as a scoot and didn't use hh and slides, (they only try hwguy... and leave the game). Painkiller (good as solo, nice bunny hoping)... But sux.. I have found nice gameplay on Warsow (http://www.warsow.net/) with wall jump and other tricks, but it's just good five minutes. The game become boring, and I kill all players. |

Yes i appreciate anything thats comes from Half-life yet i don't really like counter-strike ,it's good but not my type of game play. I used to think Unreal Tournament was great, but I've really gone of that now. It's a bit over rated! also a little easy to play. Thats why i like TFC so much. As normal casual gamers have never heard of TFC and don't really understand the concept of the game, which i like. Also the skills you can gain, Concing Bh and more, i love it. As these type of skills weren't intended, obviously. e.g concing. I love that sort of thing, taking advantage of gravity, i have played TFC for about 4 years but those years have had large breaks in between due to computers failing on me all the time there for not being able to play continuously. So i haven't had the chance learnt the art of Bunny hopping. And hopefully i can start playing again so i learn. TFC is really to my taste and style. It's not futuristic nor has a cult feeling. And that really works for me. Last edited by o_paft; 04-01-2006 at 12:47 AM. |

WASD for me. A friend of mine uses a foreign keyboard and it scares the hell out of me.
When I first started TFC I used 2.0 mouse sensitivity, and the arrows keys. Left and right were turning keys, not strafing, by the way. Then I saw the light and got tired of having a 1:3 KDR so I picked up strafe and an RPG. |

Yeah. A more accurate question would be how many cm does it take you to turn around 180 degrees.

Wow you lot are sad. I though disusing keys was bad, but mouse sensitivity WOW.
I crank the bar up to just past the middle, really doesn't matter that much to the point were i have to be sure it's at a correct number.. I'm also sad for replying.... |

If you want to have good aim you have to have the perfect sensitivity. 1.25 is perfect for me. Or if I wanted to up my "sad" bar, I could have used 1.24765.
