Hey folks,
Introducing advantage style gameplay. It's a standard capture the flag game, with one small difference, you can take advantage of a middle base by flicking a switch in the middle of the map. What does advantage offer for the team who takes it? -Enemy's access to the front door of the middle base is closed off, forcing them to find other ways in. -Teleport from spawn to middle base. While you have advantage, two teleports inside of your respawn will take you to the middle base, allowing you to defend it more easily, and launch your attack slightly faster. How do you take advantage back? -There are cliffs that lead to sniper decks in the middle base. Grenade jump, rocket jump, and conc jump to get up into that area. -There is a side ramp that is easily accessible for heavier classes, but leads to a tough choke point inside the advantage area. -A team can't take back the advantage for at least 30 seconds, and a team will keep advantage until the other team toggles the switch inside the advantage base. Anyone who's seen the map before will recognize the bases, but the middle has changed. Take a peek at the screenshots below, and let me know what you think. Disclaimer: The map isn't quite complete, there are still some visual/performance problems. I'll release the map after I've taken your feedback and put it into my map. Thanks. wow those are some outstanding shots.. can't wait to see it in action, looks fairly big,there seams to be a lot of quality maps coming out
the pillbox here reminds me of doctor roboto for some reason |

This map looks great! The gameplay itself would probably suck with less than 14 people though due to it being fairly large.

^^ You're mostly right, unless the game goes Offence vs Defence, then the offence get the advantage base (so they can teleport to the middle), which should close the game up a bit. Hopefully!

I think I found a bug, if you look carefully at the fourth screenshot in the lower left portion of the screen there's definitely a linear edge.

I have been waiting for this map for quite a while, and now, with the new textures and so on, I really cannot wait to play it.

This is looking good.
One thing that bothers me though is the rock walls in the yard are between bases. If you could scale that texture up some or rotate it maybe, it would look better imo. |

Looks awesome, my only crits are the rock displacements needing their textures upscaled, also though the floor textures in the bases need to be trimmed or split up in some way, atm the floor looks very uniform.
But great job, I really cant wait to play this! |
