Jewish days start/end at sundown. So Rosh Hashana starts tonight and ends Wednesday night. (2 day holiday).

To be honest, it seems like it would be refreshing. I'm going to try to view my days/nights like that for a week and see how I like it... Starting tonight

It's good for holidays. For example, on Yom Kipper, the fast starts the night before, and then once the sun sets... the fast is over. Sure beats starting at midnight and having to wait until midnight again to eat.

It makes so much more sense this way. 29 days a month, 13 months, all lunar based. Instead of 30 days one month, 31 days another month and every once in a while 29 days, or maybe 28, depends.
