Development Team Job Positions
Has there been much interest in the remaining job positions? I notice that it's mainly the character/model positions that are unfilled as yet, just wondering if you've had any suitable people apply?

We've had quite a bit of applications sent in, but we're still discussing all of the applicants. We're hoping to narrow down our selection sometime soon, though.

You should get a forum admin to lock some threads

I'm sure the team are doing fine at the moment with moderating the forums and it is still a smallish community (surprisingly nice one too). However pretty soon these guys are gonna have a hell of a lot of attention. Especially around any public release so i'll be happy to offer my own admining experience forwards too as an forum admin should they need any.

Ya I personaly think the forums could use just moderators. That way its people who are not working on the mod that can waste their time making sure the forums are well kept (like locking old threads whose suggestions have been already answered by dev team). Instead of how it is currently where the dev team has to tkae their time to do it.. Although the forum community seems prety good as you said and I dunno where everyone would be without defrags endless answers to questions and comments on suggestions.

Defrag your aloofness does just that, I think you need to take some lessons in political correctness. I didn’t appreciate you calling me a bald fat Scottish haggis the other day. And May I remind you, you ain't no giant!!!

My previous pressure didn't work
Just looking at the job openings and noticed the character modellers and map texture maker are the onlly positions open, how you guys coming along with them? I'm interested and keen to see the team complete, hopefully there are a few ex/TFC players that are good at this that have applied. It seems a rare skillset |

character modeller is closed, texture artist, character animator and weapon animator are open.
The website will be updated to reflect this. |

plus u don't wanna delete posts, that would put the community off. simply talking to the people in question about what they did and how they should act, should straighten them out. if its cronic, lock a thread or if its just cronic blatant bashing of ff with absolutely no decent content should it be deleted or edited. but just goin around editing and deleting posts on first offense or as u feel, is too forum naziish(sp).

if ever a position comes up for annoying team mascot that cant actually do anything technical and is only around at weird hours and not every night, then i have experience in that role and have done it for many clans before. of course my lack of knowledge then was in how to play tfc but now it is in how to make things.
i will look forward to hearing from you |
